Event Lead Capture
Run your first event
Create an event, add a booth, print its QR.
Event Lead Capture turns a QR code on your stand into a qualified lead in your inbox. A visitor scans it, fills in their details on their own phone, and you get a clean record you can export to your CRM.
Nothing to install — not for you, not for them.
How the pieces fit
- An event is the show itself — ExpoWest 2026, a conference, an open day.
- A booth is one stand or station at that event. Each booth gets its own QR code, so you always know which stand produced a lead.
- A lead is one captured visitor, attached to the booth they came from.
If you only have one stand, you still create one event and one booth — it takes about a minute.
Set it up
Step 1 — Create the event
Dashboard → Event Lead Capture → New event. Give it a name and, optionally, the venue and dates. Dates are only used for your own reporting; the capture page keeps working either way.
Step 2 — Add a booth
Open the event and choose New booth. Name it something you'd recognise on a floor plan — Main Stand — Hall A, Demo Pod, Partner Lounge.
The moment you save it, the booth has a working QR code and a public capture page.
Step 3 — Check what it asks
Every new booth starts with the five fields that matter: name, email, phone, company, job title. Name and email are required; the rest are optional.
That's enough to run a stand. When you want qualifier questions, see Choose what you ask.
Step 4 — Print the QR
On the booth row, use Print to put its QR onto a label sheet (Avery, Maco or Dymo), or Copy link if you'd rather put it in a slide, an email or a screen at the stand.
Before the doors open
- Scan your own QR with a phone that isn't signed in. This is the single most useful check — it shows you exactly what a visitor sees.
- Submit one test lead, confirm it appears in the inbox, then delete it.
- Decide who's working the stand. Staff capture leads from the same page in kiosk mode — no separate app or login on the stand device.
Running several stands? Create a booth for each one rather than reusing a single QR. Per-booth attribution is the thing you can't reconstruct after the show.
Plan limits
The free plan covers one event and one booth, which is enough for a small stand end to end. Paid plans raise the number of events, booths per event and leads per month — see the pricing on the Event Lead Capture page.
